Canvas Backdrop Material: Printed on our thick, high-quality signature canvas; shipped rolled to avoid creasing. Canvas backdrop mounting options include wood mounting, roll on tube, or have us mount it to a roller system. If you choose top and bottom wood, the top wood has 3 holes pre-drilled for easy hanging on a portable backdrop stand and the bottom wood is rounded; comes complete with Velcro straps. Can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.

Twist-Flex Backdrop Material: Portable, collapsible backdrops that are printed or painted on cloth and bound by a wire frame. These backdrops collapse into a small circular shape for simple transport and storage. Comes with a complimentary carrying case.

Velvet Backdrop Material: Printed on our high-quality, matte, velvet style material, these backdrops offer the most vibrant color rendition. Compact storage and can be washed and dried in household machines. Fold for storage.

Poly Paper Backdrops: Made of a synthetic coated paper. Backdrops are ultra-light, mobile, and vibrant.  We recommend rolling on a cardboard tube for storage to prevent creases. This is the most economical material choice for a photo backdrop. Use clamps for hanging on a crossbar or a low tack painters’ tape to adhere to a wall.

Please Note: We strive for exact measurements with all our backdrops, however, please allow 2-4" for trimming.

Canvas & Vinyl Photo Backdrop Mounting/Finishing Options

Wood Mounting: Includes both top and bottom wood with Velcro straps. Three pre-drilled holes across the top wood for easily hanging on any of our portable backdrop stands. The most popular option for any printed or painted canvas backdrop. This option provides the most protection for your backdrop while in storage.

Top Wood Only: Canvas or Vinyl is sandwiched between two pieces of wood with three holes pre-drilled for hanging on a backdrop stand. Does not include the rounded bottom wood.

Bottom Wood Only: Simply the rounded wood at the bottom of the backdrop in which you can roll the canvas or vinyl material onto. Usually chosen for those who plan to use the backdrop on a roller system or other style of mounted backdrop system.

Roll on Cardboard Tube: The canvas or vinyl backdrop will arrive rolled onto a cardboard tube with no mounting for easy storage. The cardboard tube is for temporary shipping use only. Do not hang backdrops using the cardboard tube.

Cloth Backdrop Mounting Options

Top Pole Pocket: 3” pole pocket sewn across the top of the backdrop. Ample space for a crossbar to slip through for support when using with backdrop stands.

Top & Bottom Pole Pocket: 3” pole pocket sewn across the top and the bottom of the backdrop. This additional pole pocket will reduce the height of the backdrop by several inches.

Grommets: Metal grommets are used to reinforce a hole in a piece of fabric. The grommet option will add one grommet per foot to the width across the top of the backdrop.

Collapsble backdrops are printed or painted on a cloth fabric and bound by a wire frame.

Which backdrop stand do I need to hold a vinyl backdrop?

Depending on the size of the backdrop your order, most small to medium sized backdrops can be easily hung with our BS1010 or BS1012 stand. For wider widths such as 10 ft or larger we recommend using our BS1020 stand. Be sure to request wood mounting for the best way to utilize backdrop stands and for easy storage.

How do I prevent a vinyl backdrop from getting scuff marks?

Unfortunately, it is ineveitable. However simply place low tack painters tape on high heels. Don't worry this backdrop is simple to clean......just use a magic eraser or a non petroleum based spary cleanser and marks shoudl come right up.

How do you store a vinyl backdrop?

Always store your vinyl backdrop in a cliamte controlled environment and either store it vertically when wood mounted or roll on a cardboard tube. You can leave it hanging as well, just never fold it or you will be left with creases.

Will my backdrop dimension be exact?

The short answer is no.  All vinyl backdrops are cut by hand and we must allow for trimming sometimes up to 3" can occur.
