Denny StudioEdge Frame Connectors

How StudioEdge Frame Connectors & Accessories Are Used

StudioEdge Frame Connectors & Accessories are used when StudioEdge frames are being connected together to create corner backdrop setups, straight backdrop setups, and larger connected backdrop frame layouts. This collection also includes accessories used for silicone-edge backdrop panel installation within the Denny StudioEdge Double-Sided Modular Backdrop System.

Connector Types

90° Frame Connectors

90° frame connectors are used to join StudioEdge frames at a right angle for corner backdrop setups. These are used when building L-shaped configurations or adding depth around a subject.

180° Frame Connectors

180° frame connectors are used for straight backdrop setups where StudioEdge frames are connected in a continuous line. These are used when expanding the system horizontally for wider scenes.

Bridge and T-Connectors

Bridge and T-connectors are used for larger connected backdrop frame setups where additional StudioEdge frames are tied into a more complex layout. These parts are used when building beyond a simple corner or straight run.

When You May Need These Products

  • To connect two StudioEdge frames into a corner backdrop setup
  • To build a wider straight backdrop setup using connected frames
  • To expand the StudioEdge system into larger connected backdrop frame layouts
  • To help with silicone-edge backdrop panel installation

If you are using a single StudioEdge frame by itself, frame connectors may not be needed. Frame connectors are also not needed for staged multi-frame setups where the frames are positioned separately and not physically connected together.

Frame connectors are only needed when you are connecting StudioEdge frames together.

About the Tucking Tool

The SEG tucking tool is an accessory used to help with silicone-edge backdrop panel installation by pressing the silicone edge into the StudioEdge frame channel. It is not a frame connector, but it is related to installing backdrop panels within the StudioEdge system.

This tool can be helpful when installing backdrop panels more quickly and cleanly, especially when working with multiple panels or larger connected layouts.

Compatibility

These connectors and accessories are intended for use with the Denny StudioEdge Double-Sided Modular Backdrop System and should be selected based on whether the frames are being used individually or connected into a larger layout.
