Step 4: Expand Your System

Denny StudioEdge Double Sided Modular Backdrop System

What StudioEdge Is

Denny StudioEdge is a double-sided modular backdrop system built around freestanding frames and silicone-edge backdrops. Each backdrop presses into the frame channel and is held under tension for a smooth, wrinkle-free surface.

The system is designed to make setup changes cleaner and faster than traditional backdrop stands, while also giving photographers a more structured way to build single-frame and multi-frame scenes.

How to Build Your StudioEdge System

Start by choosing a StudioEdge frame size. Then choose StudioEdge backdrops in the same width. For double-sided use, install one backdrop on the front and a second backdrop on the back.

Once the base system is in place, additional backdrops can be added one at a time. StudioEdge can also be expanded with connectors and continuous backdrops made for combined frame widths.

  • 3'W x 7.5'H frame uses 3'W x 7.5'H StudioEdge backdrops
  • 4'W x 7.5'H frame uses 4'W x 7.5'H StudioEdge backdrops
  • 5'W x 7.5'H frame uses 5'W x 7.5'H StudioEdge backdrops

Expand Your StudioEdge System

StudioEdge is built to start simply and grow over time. Individual frames can be connected to create wider straight runs, corner setups, and larger multi-panel scenes.

Connected frame layouts can be used with individual backdrops in each section or with continuous backdrops made for the full combined width.

  • Use 90° connectors to build corner setups
  • Use 180° connectors to create wider straight runs
  • Add continuous backdrops for combined frame widths where offered

Why Use StudioEdge

  • Two backdrops on one frame for fast setup changes
  • Smooth, tensioned surface without clamps or crossbars
  • Freestanding system for studio or on-location use
  • Consistent frame-to-backdrop size matching
  • Expandable system for larger scenes and connected layouts
