Will My Backdrop Look Different Than What I See Online?

All photography backdrops will be reproduced according to the latest published Denny Manufacturing Co. backdrop catalog. Each hand painted backdrop is an individual work of art, no two will ever be exactly the same! Our artist strive for consistency, however due to the differences in monitor colors, it is very hard to get an exact match. Ad for printed backdrops, color tends to be more consistent, however slight variations due to the digital nature may still occur.

Q. Why does the backdrop in the catalog show a lot more sky in the scene & alot of grass but the one I just received only has about 2 feet of sky and no grass?

A. The image you were looking at was possibly a full length backdrop (8x16 or larger) showing a family and you only ordered a 5x6. You must determine first what you want to use the backdrop for. Many photographers choose the smallest size due to price however, you must understand different sizes are used for different portraits. Please contact us for more information.

Q. Why does the photograph in your catalog or website look more vibrant than the one I just received?

A. Different lighting techniques used by individual photographers and post work with Photoshop often alter the appearance of a backdrop, this is why you should always order according to the product shot.

Q. Will you stretch or crop the backdrops?

A. In some cases we will have to crop slightly into an image for it to stay proportioned. We rarely stretch images unless we have your approval, and this is usually only on extremely wide backdrops such as a 20x10.
